Welcome...To My New Website!!

Welcome...To My New Website!!

I am so excited to finally be sharing my new website address with all of you!

I hope that the transition is seamless for all of my loyal followers and easier for new friends to find me and follow along. I've been told that this new format is much better for mobile devices!!

For those of you following with email I have transferred you, I hope, and will now be using MailChimp......

I also have added the new blog to Bloglovin, but the only way to transfer my followers was to transfer you to the new blog website, which causes the old one to be deleted from Bloglovin. Not sure why it had to be removed, but hopefully you all transitioned without any issues...

Now Google + is a totally different story....not sure how to add a follow button here...but there is a link to my Google +, so if you want to follow with that you will have to choose to do that within Google. I have at least figured out how to push my blog posts over to Google+ so that will remain an option.

Many of you will know that I was chosen as an ADORNit Girl for a 3 month period, ending at the end of July. We were sent a box filled with their amazing products...(I shared a video here) and I have been having so much fun trying new things along side my normal quilting/Sewing.

I have had the most fun rediscovering my love of colouring and trying water colours!                  The ArtPlay colouring books are just adorable, as is the planner I am now onto! The first 3 pictures are of the two monthly dividers I have finished so far. The remaining pictures are of the colouring sheets from Gnomes Life...

But you know me....fabric is my thing and quilting and sewing projects are what I love to do, so of course there has been plenty of that too..

And I found out how much I enjoy embroidery as an adult...that as a kid I did not enjoy, lol! ADORNit has an embroidery club...and the embroidery comes printed on a self stick dissolving sheet that you place on your fabric....no tracing or transferring required...and then it dissolves in water and comes off when you are done, here's a video I posted on IG...

I  turned my embroidery into a pillow, to go along with the other I had made using the Flamingo Fever fabric from ADORNit Fabrics...I made another Sew Together Bag, and a quilt as you go table runner.....and then with the few scraps I have left I made a few Teacher appreciation gift ideas...Cup Cozy (Tutorial in the drop menu or follow this link)                    and a cord keeper I saw posted on @cloverandviolet on IG. Pattern is from @leafytreetopleather (follow this link to tutorial)

Have a great week everyone...and don't forget if you are a blog follower that you got notification of this post! And if you aren't following along, please use one of the options in my side bar so you never miss out on what's going on!!!
