Stash Builder Sales Alert

Well, I can hardly believe we are at the beginning of another month already!!

Where is summer going...it seems to have picked up speed and is flying by way to quickly...

As some of you might have seen on IG, I just got back from a 4 day whirlwind East Coast trip with my hubby. He, very excitedly, found a rare bulldozer online that he has been looking for a long time. Which turned very quickly into a road trip to Nova Scotia! 1853 KM one way, in the 4 days that I mentioned above. Yikes!, and for a girl who gets motion sick, this was a real test for that travel trailer we have been talking about buying!!

For the most part this trip was kind of a blur....no time to sight see, and pulling an empty or loaded trailer is not really conducive to getting around tight areas easily. The trip did wet our appetites to want to go back someday and explore the East Coast more!! We midget to see and dip our toes into the Atlantic Ocean because of the  lovely couple Dave bought the bulldozer from!! They took the time to drive us the extra 20 minutes from their home to the ocean once the bulldozer was loaded so we didn't miss seeing it!! When you hear that east coasters are friendly, it is not an exaggeration!!

It may not look like much to us ladies, but it made my husbands face light up!!!

It was cold, but so clear and what a view looking out over the water!!!

My husband is the best and I did make it to 2 quilt shops along the way...you knew I would have to at least try....I found a cute little shop in Fredericton, New Brunswick called the Christmas Crab Quilt Shop, where I purchased a Windham Fabrics FQ bundle of High Tide by Whistler Studios! I mean how perfect is this fabric and Licence Plate for a quilt to remember our trip! Perfection!!

And...I finally got to Mad About Patchwork and met Pam after 5 years of knowing her online! Mad About Patchwork was the first online quilt shop I found when I started quilting in 2012! I loved that the shop was Canadian, had a great selection of modern fabrics and the customer service has always been great!! In 2015 Mad About Patchwork became one of my first blog sponsors, so it was really nice to finally meet in person and see the retail quilt shop!! Of course I did a bit of shopping...lol...well maybe more than a bit...but come on who can resist such yummy treats!

Oh I almost forgot...here's a tease..... Watch for a giveaway coming this month, here, from Mad About Patchwork!! Yup, Pam sent me home with a treat to giveaway to one of my lucky readers!!
